High Temperature Light Transmissible Composite Thermoplastic Additives (HTLT™) transform existing high performance thermoplastic resins into new higher performance products. High Temperature Transparent Composite Additives and Thermoplastics can be tailored for use in a wide variety of engineered thermoplastic resins and copolymers including polycarbonate (PC), polyimide (TPI), polyetherimide (PEI), and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU).
HTLT™ Additives are a mixture of transparent, high temperature resistant, organic/inorganic, sustainable materials. The multi-functional HTLT™ Additives provide thermoplastic resins with balanced innovative, totally integrated performance properties. This programmability makes the HTLT™ Additives exceptionally adaptable and versatile allowing for the transformation of existing thermoplastic resins into a new product line of higher performing transparent composite thermoplastics. HTLT™ Additives are employed in conventional processing equipment as a masterbatch, or as either coated pellets or as a free flowing, homogeneous, dry powder for conventional compounding. Next generation high temperature thermoplastic composites can now be produced with HTLT™ Additives and multiple high temperature thermoplastic resins.

HTLT™ Transparent Composite Additives Expand the Performance Ceiling of Existing Thermoplastic Resins
HTLT™ Additives transform existing resins into an innovative portfolio of High Temperature Transparent Composite Thermoplastics. HTLT™ Compositions are characterized by broad glass transition temperatures ranging from 220°- 300°C, CTE’s as low as 18 ppm, very low to zero mold-in stress, and sub-micron replication of detail. This makes HTLT™ Thermoplastic Compositions the ideal choice for mass producing lightweight, geometrically stable, complex components for high temperature applications and emerging industry trends.

Total Integrated Thermoplastic Performance Properties, Features & Benefits Achieved by HTLT™ Additives:
Current industry trends, such as miniaturization, weight reduction, improved optics and connectivity, with tight tolerances, mass production capability and ease of processability require new high-performance thermoplastics. HTLT™ Additives transform existing high performance thermoplastic resins into new higher performance products with balanced, totally integrated performance properties.
